    Yes, meals and refreshments will be available throughout the summit for registered participants.
  • Are accommodations included in the ticket price?
    No, accommodation is not included. However, we can provide a list of recommended hotels.
  • Is there a virtual attendance option?
    PAUSBIS 2025 will be primarily in-person. Hybrid/virtual access details will be announced soon for remote participants.
  • Will I receive a certificate of participation?
    Yes. All registered participants will receive a digital certificate of participation after the summit.
  • What is the weather like in Minnesota in August?
    Minnesota in August typically experiences warm and pleasant weather. Expect:
    - Average daytime temperatures: 75–85°F (24–29°C)
    - Cooler evenings: 60–70°F (15–21°C)
    - Occasional rain showers, so bringing an umbrella or light raincoat is advisable.
    We recommend packing light layers, comfortable walking shoes, and weather-appropriate attire for both business sessions and social activities.
  • What are the visa requirements for international attendees?
    If you’re traveling from outside the U.S., you will likely need a B1 (Business) or B2 (Tourist) visa. It is recommended to:
    - Begin the visa application process at least 90 days before travel.
    - Prepare documentation, including a letter of invitation from the PAUSBIS team if necessary (available upon request).
    - Visit travel.state.gov for the most accurate and updated visa information.
  • What airport should I fly into?
    You should book your flight to Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP). It is the primary airport serving Minnesota and is about 15–30 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, depending on your hotel location.
