PAUSBIS (Pan-African U.S. Business and Investment Summit) is a premier international platform fostering trade, investment, and economic collaboration between Africa and the United States. The summit will be held from August 21–23, 2025 at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

PAUSBIS 2025 will be primarily in-person. Hybrid/virtual access details will be announced soon for remote participants.

Yes. All registered participants will receive a digital certificate of participation after the summit.

Minnesota in August typically experiences warm and pleasant weather. Expect:
- Average daytime temperatures: 75–85°F (24–29°C)
- Cooler evenings: 60–70°F (15–21°C)
- Occasional rain showers, so bringing an umbrella or light raincoat is advisable.
We recommend packing light layers, comfortable walking shoes, and weather-appropriate attire for both business sessions and social activities.

If you’re traveling from outside the U.S., you will likely need a B1 (Business) or B2 (Tourist) visa. It is recommended to:
- Begin the visa application process at least 90 days before travel.
- Prepare documentation, including a letter of invitation from the PAUSBIS team if necessary (available upon request).
- Visit travel.state.gov for the most accurate and updated visa information.

You should book your flight to Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP). It is the primary airport serving Minnesota and is about 15–30 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, depending on your hotel location.

Public Transportation: Metro Transit provides buses and light rail services.
Car Rentals: Available at MSP airport and throughout the city.
